Send documents by LINE and Telegram
Send invoices, proposals and contracts straight to a client's chat.
Email and copying the message work right away with no setup. LINE and Telegram need to be connected to the workspace and linked to a contact first.
1. Connect a channel
- 1
Open Settings › Connections and choose Document delivery channels
- 2
LINE: use a long-lived Channel access token and Channel secret from a Messaging API channel in LINE Developers, then turn on Use webhook
- 3
Telegram: create a bot with @BotFather and paste its token. The webhook is set up automatically
2. Link the contact
- 1
Open the client page, Contacts tab
- 2
Use the menu at the end of the contact row to link LINE or Telegram
- 3
Send the link to your client. Once they confirm in the chat, the contact shows as Linked automatically
If the link doesn't work, the client can send the 6-digit link code in the chat instead. The code is valid for 24 hours.
3. Send the document
Open the document, click Send to client, then pick a recipient and channel.
One Telegram bot works with one workspace. Connecting the same bot elsewhere stops the first workspace from receiving messages. Sending by chat is on Plus and above.
