Version history and activity log

See what a page or document used to look like, restore an earlier version, and check who did what in the workspace.

Tuhmo keeps version history for note pages, proposals and contracts automatically. Edits by the same person within 10 minutes are combined into one version.

View and restore a note page

  1. 1

Open the page and click the Edited... text at the top, or open the ⋯ menu in the top right and choose Version history

  2. 2

The panel on the right lists versions by day, with who made each edit and what changed, such as blocks added, removed or edited

  3. 3

Click View this version to see the whole page as it was

  4. 4

Click Restore this version, then Restore to confirm

Before restoring, the current page is saved to the history too, so you can always go back. Restoring needs edit access to the page. History doesn't keep the data inside database tables, only where the block sits, and meeting notes have no version history.

Proposals and contracts

Open the document and choose Version history from its ⋯ menu. Pick a version from the list on the right to see the whole document, then click Restore this version. You can only restore documents the client hasn't responded to yet.

Invoices, recurring bills, proposals and contracts also have a History tab in the document's side panel that shows who changed what and when.

How far back you can go

  • Free: 7 days
  • Plus: 90 days
  • Business: unlimited

Your plan's range is shown at the bottom of the history panel. If there are versions older than that, you'll see an Upgrade to see older versions link.

Activity log

The Activity log brings together changes to invoices, proposals, contracts, recurring bills, team and permissions, plus every time someone reveals a secret.

  1. 1

    Open Settings › Activity log

  2. 2

Filter by time range, user or type

  3. 3

Click Export to download the entries as a CSV file

The Activity log is on Business and is only visible to people who can manage the team. Secret reveals only show for people who have access to secrets.
