Groups and permissions
Use groups to control who can access each part of the workspace instead of setting it person by person.
Permissions in Tuhmo live on groups. Everyone in a group gets the same access. People who aren't in any other group sit in the Members group automatically.
Create a group
- 1
Open Settings › Members and choose the Group tab
- 2
Click Create group and give it a name
- 3
Open the group and set each area, for example View only or Can edit
- 4
Add people to the group from its settings
Changes in group settings save right away. There is no save button.
Workspace roles
- Owner: always has full access and is the only one who can assign groups to others
- Admin: can invite people, manage teamspaces and change workspace settings
- Member: works in the workspace based on their group permissions
Narrow access for one person
- Which projects they can see: pick the projects this person can open
- Only tasks assigned to them: other people's tasks in the same project won't show
- Permissions for this person: turn areas on or off just for them without creating a new group
Group permissions need Plus or above. Per-person permissions and the Activity log, which shows who changed what, are on Business.
