See connections with Graph view

Graph view shows your clients, projects, tasks, notes and documents as dots, with lines showing how they connect.

Click "Graph view" under "Overview" in the sidebar. Everyone in the workspace can open it and sees only what they have permission to view.

Reading the graph

  • Each type has its own color: clients, projects, tasks, notes, invoices, quotations, contracts, recurring bills and members
  • Lines come from data you already have, such as a project's client, tasks in a project and links to other pages inside notes. You don't draw them yourself
  • Dots with an amount grow with the amount, and overdue dots have a red ring

Using the graph

  • Scroll or pinch to zoom, drag empty space to pan, and drag dots to arrange them
  • Click a dot to go to its page. Hold Ctrl or ⌘ and click to open it in a new tab
  • Right-click a dot and choose "Focus here" to see only what connects to it. Click "Focused" to go back to everything
  • Type in "Search the graph" and dots that don't match fade out

Filters and display

Use the filter to show only "Needs attention", meaning overdue items and what they connect to, or to narrow by type and teamspace. Completed items and unlinked items are hidden by default. You can show them from the filter.

The "Display" button adjusts node size, labels, arrows, forces and colors by type. Member dots are hidden by default and can be shown here. Click "Reset" to go back to the defaults.
